Three White Horses

Are you having one of those weeks where it seems the saying “opinions are like…..” applies virtually everywhere?  Well, we can add whatever colorful expletive you care to add to the finish the phrase and it still comes down to an opinion.  The heart of the matter is that we do control our destiny, our fate- but that is only partially true.  We are born into this life and eventually we all pass away from this physical body.  So, in the meantime,  Are you tired of being tired?  Are you fed up with where you are?  Do you want to improve the quality of what you care for and not listen to any more excuses?

Yes Mr. Bird, I am also “done waiting.”

Family Sing Alongs

If you grew up in a family that enjoyed music, or knew one that did down the street or who lived on the next block, town or ranch- you would know the sound of those people.  We had family sing alongs in my family when times were tough. My uncle used to say “Family sing alongs are great. They keep the family together and the neighbors away.”

NOSY NEIGHBORS

I feel a “Fruit Loop Cereal” jingle is running through your head.

What happens at the end of the day (or night)?  Hopefully, you go home.  What and where is this place called home?  How well do you know your neighbors and how well do you know the place where you lay your head down for a truly deserved rest?

In Chinese Metaphysics they have a concept called “Feng Shui.”  You are probably thinking, “Oh yeah, I know what that is- put a fish tank out front (a water feature) collect some ‘lucky’ golden frogs from your local Oriental imports company and put one of those fancy mirrors with the Chinese writing above the door.”  And wait. And wait. And wait.

In the meantime, the fish have died in the tank, the frogs are now toys for your cat or dog and the mirror above the door collects dust.  This is what happens when a person is not properly guided into the fine art but relatively straight forward art of “making your happy place” be there for you.

Take the Funk out of Feng Shui

No, she is not a Feng Shui Expert. Except maybe Portland, Oregon.

Every culture has their traditions of ‘spring cleaning,’ regardless time of the year.  Now if you are one of those folks, (like myself) where cleaning up the clutter is not your strong suit- there is still hope for you in your world of elemental alignment, energy balancing and most importantly, finding your car keys in a timely manner.

Start with your Day Master

What element are you? And what disposition of that element are you? (read: are you in Yin or Yang of said element?)  You can find out easily by contacting Gonzo here.  Finding out the element and your disposition is the easy part.  Setting up the idea of “what do I do next?” is the more challenging aspect.  In order to find out the more challenging part of such material requires the accurate accounting and understanding of what your Four Pillars of Destiny tells you, before the interpretative analysis begins.  Basic information is basic information.  You are either pregnant or not. We can have contributing aspects that make up our personality traits and our true ‘inner nature’ but the basic disposition of an element, yin or yang is only within the basic design.  Everything else is fluid and variable, including the contributing aspects of ourselves to how we look at life and what we have to work on to accomplish our goals.

I don’t know why I thought he was related to Dudley Moore.

Your not dead yet

So live a little.  Begin by figuring out your lists.  What do you want? Where do you want to be?  Do not compare yourself with others (especially family members or those around you that remind you of said family members).  Most importantly, discover yourself.  You can easily begin by using the frame of reference we know as the BaZi Suan Ming.  If you are able to read this, you are able to take the next step forward.  We all have excuses and we all are super busy.  Maybe you are super busy at “doing nothing,” but you are still super busy.

Next stop BaZi City!

Keep your feet on the ground.  Eat more vegetables.  Pray.  And try calling one of those family relatives that helped you in your younger wonder years.
