My Karma Ran Over Your Dogma

When you look for any kind of resolution to a problem we attempt to do one of three things- (or for the creative ones in all of us, a combination of the following: [1] shoot it [2] eat it [3] attempt a 9 month to 15 year relationship of codependency with this particular person, thought pattern or situation.

Three White Horses

Are you having one of those weeks where it seems the saying “opinions are like…..” applies virtually everywhere?  Well, we can add whatever colorful expletive you care to add to the finish the phrase and it still comes down to an opinion.  The heart of the matter is that we do control our destiny, our fate- but that is only partially true.  We are born into this life and eventually we all pass away from this physical body.  So, in the meantime,  Are you tired of being tired?  Are you fed up with where you are?  Do you want to improve the quality of what you care for and not listen to any more excuses?

Do not make things worse.  Don’t Slap the Crying Baby. We need to understand the underpinnings of ancient wisdom bestowed upon us to examine our past so we can prepare for our future.  This is how.

The Barefoot Hopi

One of the most riveting and frightening books I have ever read is Leslie Marmon Silko‘s Almanac of the Dead.” Granted, this was back in 1991.  Ghosts and ‘weird stuff’ used to freak me out.
